OUR STORY
INSPIRED BY CARE
Our story started in 2020 in Sydney, Australia, where our founder, Jessica created Airstride® to redefine equine leg protection with a focus on science based convection cooling.
With expertise in the medical device industry and textile design, she identified a need for eff ective solutions during the COVID-19 lockdown when existing products fell short to keep her horses legs truly cool.
Jessica was completely baffled by amount of misleading claims of “breathable” boots when the materials used were often neoprene and fleece - fabrics known to insulate rather than cool.
Guided by scientific evidence of convection cooling and in consultation with veterinarians, trainers, and riders, Jessica developed Airstride®’s revolutionary product range that prioritises genuine air flow and delivers real cooling horses can feel - setting a new standard in equine care that other brands aspire to match.
